Kapilvastu sealed off for a week amid growing number of COVID-19 cases

KAPILVASTU, May 11 | The District Administration Office (DAO), Kapilvastu, has sealed off the district for a week from Monday (May 11) 5 pm to Sunday (May 17) midnight owing to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the district. With 10 new cases confirmed earlier today, the district alone has reported 15 infected patients in the last five days. KATHMANDU, May 6 | Total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nepal have reached 99 as 17 more patients have been diagnosed with this deadly disease on Wednesday. During a regular press briefing of the Ministry of Health and Population, the spokesperson Dr Bikash Devkota, informed that the swab samples of all the patients from Parsa district tested positive for this disease at Kathmandu-based National Public Health Laboratory.
